LongeviQuest is saddened to report that Ejra Grimstam, Sweden’s third-oldest living person, passed away at 111 years old.

Ejra Grimstam was born on 29 June 1912 in Sjötofta, Västra Götaland, Sweden.

In 1945, she married her husband Thure and had two daughters named Maj-Britt and Siv. The family settled in Oskarström, outside Halmstad. Unfortunately, her husband died in 1992 so she moved to the municipality of Ale so she could be close to her daughter Siv. Around 2013, Ejra moved to the Backavik Nursing Home found in Nödinge.
