LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Yuriko Tsurumaru at 110 years old. She is a Japanese supercentenarian known as the current oldest living person in Miyazaki Prefecture.
Yuriko Tsurumaru was born on 14 July 1913 in Japan.
When she was 36 years old, she lost her husband, so she had to raise their four children alone while working as a teacher.

When asked about her secret to having a long life, Tsurumaru answered living in peace and eating a lot. At the age of 106 years old, she already had six great-grandchildren. She was recognized as the oldest living person in Miyazaki Prefecture on 19 August 2023 after Yone Kawabata passed away.
