LongeviQuest is pleased to share that Lucia Laura Sangenito turns 113 years old. She is an Italian supercentenarian known as the second-oldest living person in the country. 

Lucia was born on 22 November 1910 in Sturno, Campania, Italy. 

At some point in her life, she got married and had two children. Unfortunately, her husband passed away in 2010.

When she was 107 years old, she fell and fractured her femur resulting in a delicate surgery. At the age of 110, she already has two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

It is with a heavy heart for LongeviQuest to report that Rosa De Vita passed away at 112 years old. She was an Italian supercentenarian known as the fourth-oldest living person in the country.

Moio della Civitella’s Mayor Enrico Gnarra reported the passing away of Rosa De Vita by stating “Grandma Rosa will forever remain a great example of life. We will carry her in our hearts.”

Rosa De Vita was born on 8 February 1911 in Moio della Civitella, Salerno, Campania, Italy.

At some point in her life, she married someone who emigrated to Venezuela in the mid-1950s. Following her husband’s death, Rosa was left alone to raise their son. She spent her life in a native village.

Rosa De Vita passed away on 11 October 2023 in Moio della Civitella.
