Alma Marie Kam, the oldest living person in the U.S. state of Washington, passed away in Seattle on 9 April, at the age of 112 years, 133 days.

Alma Marie Kam was born on 27 November 1913. She and her husband moved to Seattle in 1945, where they established their family home and ran a family business for 52 years. Their local church and their children’s school were all located within an eight-block radius. She had four children.

On 22 April 2024, following the passing of Dorothy Reed, she became the oldest known living person in Washington.
