Edna Louisa Kurtz of the United States Passes Away at 110

It is with a heavy heart for LongeviQuest to report that Edna Kurtz of Massachusetts passed away on 18 April 2024 at 110. 

Edna Louisa Kurtz was born on 16 July 1913 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She had four sisters and one brother, with her being the oldest. 

Mrs. Kurtz married twice in her lifetime. The first marriage occurred in 1931 when she married Edmund Perry Joslin and had two sons with him. She became widowed just five years later and was remarried to Edward Winfred Kurtz with whom she had one son. 

Edna Kurtz received a Certificate of Graduations from Rutland Public Schools in 1927. She also received a diploma from the Stenographic Department of Worcester Business Institute in 1930.

She worked as a comptometer operator in the accounting department of Melville Shoe Corporation after her first husband passed away. After marrying Mr. Kurtz, she was a housewife who occasionally volunteered at Manchester Memorial Hospital. 

Edna Kurtz moved to Lombard, Illinois, after her husband passed away in 2003. 

She passed away on 18 April 2024 and her burial services will be held in July.
