New Validation: Ruth Touschner (1912-2023) of the United States

LongeviQuest has validated the age claim for Ruth Touschner (1912-2023) of New York, United States. Born Ruth Huffmaster in Dushore, Pennsylvania on 21 November 1912, she moved to Elmira, New York in 1940 together with her husband, Vincent F. Touschner who she married in 1932.

It is also at that point that she converted from Lutheran to Catholicism and the couple even became the caretakers of their local church at that time. Mr. and Mrs. Touschner had sons who are now both deceased. Mrs. Touschner moved into a nursing home when she was aged 105. She died at the age of 110 years and 150 days last 20 April 2023. At the time of her death, she was one of the top five oldest residents of New York.
