LongeviQuest is pleased to share that Naomi Whitehead, the 5th oldest living American, turns 113 years old. She is an American supercentenarian who is also recognized as the oldest living person in Pennsylvania, USA.

Naomi celebrated her 113th birthday at St. Paul’s Senior Living Community in West Salem Township. During this time, she can still remember her early days with a little help from her grandchildren. “I was born on a Georgia Farm,” Whitehead said. “I picked cotton and tobacco.” She even remembered the horses on the farm which were still the main mode of transportation. She said, “I was afraid of getting kicked by them.”

Naomi Whitehead was born on 26 September 1910 in Georgia, United States. She married Sylvester Whitehead and had three sons with him. Unfortunately, she outlived all of her children and when her last surviving son died in 2011, she resided in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

She is currently living at St. Paul’s Senior Living Community in Greenville, Pennsylvania, USA.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Vicie George at 110 years old. She was an American supercentenarian born on 24 November 1909 in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, USA.

While growing up, George was passionate about learning to the point that she excelled in geography and history classes while attending school. However, aside from her passion for academics, she also enjoyed playing baseball.

She married Grover George in February 1925, with whom she had seven children with. They kept their marriage strong for 64 years until Grover passed away in 1989.

Vicie joined the Beech Grove Baptist Church in 1936 and remained a devoted member until her death.

Vicie George passed away on 12 January 2020 in Decatur, Georgia, USA. She was 110 years and 49 days old at the time of her death.

Born Nina Frazier in Robinson, Georgia in January 1909, Mrs. Willis was one of 20 children.  One of her brothers lived to the age of 109, and another sister remains her caretaker in her 90s.
