She was an elementary school teacher for two decades. At some point in her life, she married Rev. Carl Peacock and the couple shared 57 years of marriage before his passing.
At 105 years old, she frequently led Bible studies and prayer groups. When asked about her secret to longevity, she answered, “Keep moving, and you’ll reach 108. And follow the best leader of all, the Lord.”
