It is with a heavy heart that LongeviQuest reports Seki Yoshida‘s passing at 114 years old. At the time of her passing, she was the oldest living person in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Her family announced on 11 February 2024, that she had passed away. A funeral service will be held at Makoto Funeral Home in Naka Nishi on 15 February 2024 at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Yoshida was born in Japan on 4 January 1910.
On January 4, 2024, she celebrated her 114th birthday at a nursing home in Shirosato Town.

It is with a heavy heart that LongeviQuest reports Mabel Mah’s demise at 113. She was a Canadian supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in the country at the time of her death. She passed away on 30 January 2024.
Mabel Mah was born on 4 July 1910 in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
She was married to Sunny Mah with whom she had six children with. Unfortunately, her husband passed away in 1953.
Mabel appeared in a CBC TV documentary about her family history and in a National Film Board Documentary, “The Chan Legacy”.
