Rosa Demetrio Nardelli is a Brazilian semi-supercentenarian.
Rosa Demetrio Nardelli was born on 25 March 1918, in Gravatal, Santa Catarina, Brazil, to parents Manoel Rafael Tavares (10 May 1878 – 20 April 1970) and Anna Bernardina de Jesus (2 September 1882 – 2 March 1972). Among her 19 siblings, she is the only one living.
Rosa had always worked on the farm, doing various jobs at the sugar mill and on the tobacco plantation. Tobacco farming became part of her daily routine by the time she moved to Rio do Oeste in 1973.
On 23 June 1973, she married Joaquim Nardelli (20 January 1919 – 23 May 1994), a farmer. He was a widow and father of 16 children. Without biological children, Rosa helped raise the family with love and affection. After her husband’s passing, she moved in with her step-son, Arlindo, and daughter-in-law, Alvaci, in Laurentino.
She enjoys cookies and hot coffee, and only takes medication to control cholesterol, blood pressure, and circulation. She attributes her longevity to her faith. She attends mass when able, and takes joy in receiving visitors.
She currently lives in Laurentino, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Her age was verified by Gabriel Ainsworth and Iara Souza, and validated by LongeviQuest on 1 April 2026.
