On 16 May 2025, João Marinho Neto—the world’s oldest living man—received the LongeviQuest World’s Oldest Man Trophy in recognition of his remarkable longevity. His son, Vinícius, accepted the trophy on our behalf and presented it to him.
Born on 5 October 1912, João Marinho Neto currently lives in Apuiarés, Ceará, Brazil. He became the world’s oldest living man after the passing of 112-year-old John Tinniswood of the United Kingdom on 25 November 2024.
