Gentilina Raccosta, a resident of Serravalle Pistoiese, Tuscany, Italy, is celebrating her 110th birthday today, according to Valdinievole Oggi.
Gentilina Raccosta was born in Penna San Giovanni, Marche, on 2 June 1915.
She lived in Florence with her husband, a lawyer originally from Salerno who practiced in the Tuscan capital. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 97. Including their engagement, they were together for 74 years before his passing. She cared for him devotedly until his final days.
At the moment, she is the third-oldest living person in Tuscany, after Mamie Tei (111) and Nella Faleri (110).
