Luis Caño, a resident of Linden, New Jersey, recently celebrated his claimed 110th birthday. His birthday was first reported on the official Facebook page for the City of Linden.

Caño claims to have been born in December 1914. He has lived in Linden for the past 20 years. During his birthday celebration, Mayor Derek Armstead visited him to present a proclamation and a birthday card in his honor.

Currently, no documentation verifying his age has been located, so LongeviQuest has not validated his claim. As of now, the oldest validated living man in the United States is Eugene Baltes of Illinois, who celebrated his 110th birthday last October. If validated, Caño would be recognized as the oldest living man in New Jersey and the second-oldest fully validated living man in the United States.

Nevertheless, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to him and his family and wish him many more years of health and happiness.
