Shizue Nakayama was a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in Isa City at the time of her death.

In 2006, she lived in Hishikari Town, Kagoshima Prefecture (now Isa City). At the age of 100, she said that the secret to her longevity was “not worrying too much about anything.”
Shizue Nakayama passed away of natural causes at a nursing home in Isa City on 9 September 2017, at the age of 110 years, 340 days.
