Fuji Miyawaki was a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the second-oldest living person in Kagoshima Prefecture, at the time of her death.
Fuji Miyawaki was born on 10 April 1901 in Japan.
At some point in her life, she got married and had five children with her husband.
By the age of 106, she was living in a nursing home. Although she used a wheelchair, she maintained a good appetite, especially enjoying sandwich bread with honey and strawberry jam. When recognized as the oldest resident in her city, she expressed her gratitude and even sang a song from her past.
Fuji Miyawaki passed away on 22 February 2012 in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
