Nō Sakai was a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in Toyama Prefecture at the time of her death.
Nō Sakai was born on 1 June 1906 in Tonami, Toyama Prefecture, Japan.
In 1939, she got married and had children with her husband.
On her 100th birthday, 1 June 2006, the mayor and city council members of Tonami City visited her home and celebrated her longevity.
On 1 June 2016, she celebrated her 110th birthday at a nursing home, where she expressed her gratitude and appreciation.
After Tsuya Hayashi of Toyama City passed away on 30 November 2016, she became the oldest living person in the prefecture.
Nō Sakai passed away on 8 January 2017 in the nursing home where she was residing.
