LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Masa Satō of Japan at age 111. She was born in Japan on April 10, 1908. At some point, she became a mother.

Though her vision wasn’t perfect at 110, Sato was in excellent health and loved chatting. She reportedly never had any major illnesses and had a special liking for Yakult, a Japanese probiotic drink.

Masa Satō passed away in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, on 25 July 2019, at the age of 111 years, 106 days. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest living person in Gunma Prefecture, behind Kesa Yamada.

LongeviQuest congratulates Hazel Nilson’s family on her posthumous recognition.
