It is with great delight for LongeviQuest to share the age validation of Maynie Earline Andrews at 111 years old. She was an American supercentenarian known as the second oldest living person in Texas at the time of her death.

Maynie Earline Andrews was born on 28 October 1910 in Marion County, Texas, USA.

In 1928, she graduated from high school in Vivian, Louisiana. Three years later, she received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State Normal College which is currently known as Northwestern State University. After this, she attained her Master of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, Texas. She started her first job in Arkansas as a teacher to kickstart her career.

Maynie Earline Andrews concluded her teaching career at a school in Tyler, Texas, in 1974. The next year, she married the school superintendent Gunby Houston Andrews.

She was also a traveler since 1932 after she had a solo train trip going to New Orleans. A year later after this, she went to the World’s Fair in Chicago alone. Andrews aimed to visit every state in the union which is 48 at that time. She would eventually achieve this goal of her after some time. During her 80s, she visited China, Greece, and Istanbul, respectively.

Maynie Earline Andrews passed away on 16 March 2022 in North Richland Hills, Texas, USA. At the time of her death, she was the second oldest living person in Texas at 111 years and 139 days.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Nina Robinson at 111 years old. She was an American supercentenarian known as the fourth-oldest living person in Texas, USA.

Nina Robinson was born on 11 November 1910 in Greenwood, Wise County, Texas, USA. She and her five younger siblings resided in Wise County most of their lives, so they have fostered an enduring bond with each other.

On 7 November 1934, Nina married Cecil Claude Robinson (1907-1996) in Love County, Oklahoma. The couple’s path crossed when Nina’s sister and Claude’s brother got married. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson had four children comprised of three daughters and a son. The family relocated to Fresno, California, but immediately returned to Texas after only a year.

Following her marriage, she dedicated herself to homemaking, farm work, and taking care of children with special needs at the Denton State School.

Nina Robinson passed away on 27 December 2021 in Decatur, Texas, USA. At the time of her death, she was 111 years and 46 days old. She was survived by her two daughters, seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Vesta Toller at 110 years old. She was an American supercentenarian recognized as the oldest living person from Arizona, USA.

She was born as Vesta Mozel Blackerby on 30 December 1910 in Wheeler, Texas, USA. When Vesta was a little child, her family moved to Branson, Colorado, where her father was a doctor who tends to various injuries of miners usually work in the Four Corners area.

Vesta Toller graduated from Raton High School and earned her teaching degree from the Colorado Teachers College in Greeley. She taught various subjects in junior high school for several years.

In 1937, she married her husband Charles Toller and had three children with him. The family then lived in Raton, New Mexico, where Mr. Toller served as mayor for some time. On the other hand, she was pretty much involved as a bookkeeper for Toller Pontiac and Miners Colfax Hospital. She also actively volunteered at her church for much of her life.

When she was 98 years old, she moved to Colorado to live with her sister.  After this, she moved again to Tucson, Arizona, to live with her son Robert Ernest Toller. Her son passed away in 2018, and so Vesta moved into Waverly House.

Vesta Toller passed away on 9 March 2021 in Tucson, Arizona, USA, when she was 110 years and 69 days old.

LongeviQuest is delighted to share that the oldest Mexican-American, Santos Fierro, turned 110. She is an American supercentenarian born in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico, on 22 July 1913.

Santos Fierro moved to El Paso, Texas, USA, in 1916 along with her family. This is where she attended school until she was in fourth grade. Moreover, she also found a work in a local hospital here before working at the school district.

In 1938, Santos married her husband Andres Fierro who later passed away in 1966 after 28 years of marriage. The couple had five children together whom she took care of alone after her husband’s death.  She lived in Smeltertown, a residential community in El Paso County, for a few years.

Santos Fierro is currently residing at El Paso, Texas, USA, at the age of 110.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Rose DeGrasse at 110 years old. She was an American supercentenarian considered to be among the oldest living people in Texas, USA, and possibly the oldest living person of Lebanese descent.

Rose DeGrasse was born Rose Mary Rizk in Sioux City, Iowa, USA, on 4 October 1912. Her parents are originally from the village of Jib Janin in Beqaa Valley, Lebanon, and she had five siblings.

She grew up in Sioux City in the house her father built in 1918. She also did her schooling there where she finished her high school from Sioux City East High School in 1930.

Rose attended two years at the University of Iowa as a college undergraduate in psychiatric social work. She shared a room there with her sister, Josephine Margaret Studebaker. Then, the two of them returned to Sioux City upon hearing some news about their mother. It was about their mother being involved in an automobile accident that left her paraplegic in 1933.

On 8 December 1945, Rose married Charles “Chuck” DeGrasse who was previously stationed in Europe during the war. The couple had three children.

She served on the Alter Societies of two churches before becoming a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in San Antonio. She also played gold avidly for 75 years before giving up at the age of 96.

DeGrasse passed away in San Antonio, Texas, USA, on 5 November 2022, at the age of 110 years old. She was survived by two of her children, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandsons.

LongeviQuest is happy to announce the validation of Jewell Hutson’s age of 111 years old. She was born in Elm Flats near Kerens, Navarro County, Texas, USA, on 27 January 1911.

Jewell graduated from North Texas State Teachers College (currently known as University of North Texas) in 1932. It is at this moment of her life that she met John Denton Hutson whom she later married in Austin, Texas on 30 May 1936.

The couple had a son named John Denton Jr. in 1945, nine years after their wedding. In the same year, she taught at a school in Malakoff.

She moved back to Kerens, Texas around 1971 to teach second grade students at Kerens Elementary until she retired in 1979.

Mrs. Hutson passed away in Kerens, Navarro County, Texas, USA, on 10 April 2022 where she was survived by two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
