Nell Hardin of Fort Worth, Texas, USA, passed away on 27 November, just 10 days after celebrating her 110th birthday. Her passing was announced by Eubank Funeral Home on Dignity Memorial.
Hardin was born in Grand Saline, Texas, USA, on 17 November 1914, to parents Samuel and Medie Morris. She had three siblings: Mildred Hanks, Bill, and Gene Morris.
In 1936, she married Linus Hardin, and the couple relocated to Houston in 1939. A dedicated housewife, she raised her sons while nurturing a passion for travel. In 1964, Nell moved to Fort Worth to be closer to her sister, Mildred Hanks, and brother-in-law, Ralph. She remained active well into her later years. At the age of 60, Nell embarked on a new chapter as a nursery school worker, a role she cherished and continued with enthusiasm until the age of 78.
