Nell Hardin (née Morris) was an American supercentenarian.

BIOGRAPHY

Nell Hardin was born in Grand Saline, Texas, USA, on 17 November 1914, to parents Samuel and Medie Morris. She had three siblings: Mildred Hanks, Bill, and Gene Morris.

In 1936, she married Linus Hardin, and the couple relocated to Houston in 1939. A dedicated housewife, she raised her sons while nurturing a passion for travel. In 1964, Nell moved to Fort Worth to be closer to her sister, Mildred Hanks, and brother-in-law, Ralph. She remained active well into her later years. At the age of 60, Nell embarked on a new chapter as a nursery school worker, a role she cherished and continued with enthusiasm until the age of 78.

Nell Hardin passed away in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, on 27 November 2024, ten days following her 110th birthday.
