LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of James Holt at 111 years old. He was an American supercentenarian born on 25 December 1865.

He was born in Edwards, Illinois, USA, to parents Joseph and Martha Pelham Holt. James and his three brothers were sent to Cannon, Tennessee after their parents passed away in 1868 which made them young orphans.

He was already living independently at the age of 13 years old where he would work and travel throughout multiple states in the 1870s. According to him, he lived with the chief of a Native American tribe in Missouri for several years before he went to work as a cowboy in Oklahoma 1889 Land Rush.

James married Clara Hyder on 1 November 1899 in Lamar, Missouri. The couple had five children together. Their marriage went on for 38 years just before Clara died in 1937. He was remarried to another woman who also died 18 years later after the wedding.

In his later years, James began living with one of his daughters in Oklahoma City.

James Holt passed away on 7 January 1977 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. He was 111 years and 13 days old at the time of his death.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Isaac Nathan Edwards at age 110. He was an American supercentenarian known as the oldest living man at the time of his death.
Isaac Nathan Edwards was born on 6 December 1863 in Randolph County, Alabama, USA. While his mother was pregnant with him, his father was a part of the 31st Alabama Infantry Regiment that went into the Civil War but never returned.

At some point in the early 1880s, he married Sally Hurley and the two of them had seven children. Unfortunately, his wife died in 1898 at the age of 36 years old. Later on, he married once again, this time to Claudia Vesta Birdashaw with whom he had six more children. The family relocated to Oklahoma in 1907.

He was active in the Missionary Baptist Church until he cannot attend anymore due to old age. When he was 100 years old, he had eight living children wherein he lived with a son and two daughters on a 90-acre farm near Maud. Since then, his health was in good condition although having poor eyesight, he had his hearing remained acute.

Upon his age validation, it was known that he became the world’s oldest living man on 5 May 1973 after 110-year-old Friedrich Wedeking passed away.

Isaac Nathan Edwards passed away on 18 October 1974 in Maud, Oklahoma, USA. At the time of death, he had approximately 216 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Christine Phillips at 111 years old. She was an American supercentenarian who was recorded as the second-oldest person living in Oklahoma, USA, at the time of her death.
 
Phillips was born on 7 October 1909 in Loyal, Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, USA. Her parents were John H. Kruse, a German born in Hamburg, and Katie A. Ittner, born in Nebraska. She and her older brother were born on a family farm located at the east of Loyal, Kingfisher County. She attended a schoolhouse in Excelsior where she graduated from the eighth grade.

In 1935, she married Ralph A. Phillips and the two of them ran a dairy farm southwest of Hennessey. Mr. and Mrs. Phillips had one daughter whom they named Shirley.
 
Mrs. Phillips passed away on 16 December 2020, in Kingfisher County, Oklahoma, at the age of 111 years old.

LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Lois Boston at 110 years old, after recently celebrating her 110th birthday. This makes her the oldest living person in Oklahoma, United States.

She was born as Lois Inez Wallin in Oklahoma on 10 May 1913 where she is the ninth of 11 children of her parents, Benjamin and Mary Lou Wallin.

Lois married Charlie Boston on Christmas Eve 1936 and the couple shared almost 70 years of marriage. Together, they had three daughters, and their family grew over time to include five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Boston presently lives in Guymon, Oklahoma.  Her 110th birthday was commemorated by Guymon Mayor Kim Peterson, who proclaimed the week of 7-13 May 2023 as “Lois Boston Week.”
