Margaret Hoyle, age 110, is now a validated American supercentenarian. Hoyle is currently the oldest known living person in the U.S. state of South Carolina.
Margaret Hoyle was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina, USA on 29 January 1914. She was a wife and a mother to 4 children.

Hoyle lived on her own until a fall and hip fracture in 2020 led her to a nursing home. She even bounced back from COVID-19 just in time to celebrate her 107th birthday in 2021. Currently, she has 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
