Maxine Schultz, a resident of Rochester, Minnesota, USA, passed away on 27 August, at the age of 110 years, 68 days. Her passing was first reported by Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes.
Schultz was born in Huron, South Dakota, on 20 June 1915. Her parents were to Charles Worrall and Malo Wilson.
On 20 September 1937, she married Walter W. Schultz in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. After getting married, she moved to Elgin, Minnesota in the 1940s, and later moved to Rochester when her husband accepted a position at Marigold Dairy. Over the years, she held various jobs, including working at the JCPenney store, helping run her family’s hardware store, and serving as a cafeteria worker for Rochester Public Schools. They raised two adopted children together, Charles (Buck) and Karen Grotberg. Maxine’s husband passed away in May 1972.
