Engraciano González Barroso, a resident of Navalcarnero, Community of Madrid, Spain, celebrated his 110th birthday on 10 July, according to Telemadrid.

Engraciano González Barroso was born in Zamora, Castile and León, on 10 July 1915.

He began his career with Iberia Airlines on 20 December 1940, as a mechanical officer and the company’s 330th employee. Soon after, he was assigned to Gran Canaria, where he worked for three years, got married, and had his first child. He later returned to Madrid, working at Barajas Airport and rising to the position of section head for line maintenance technicians. Over his 38-year career, he worked on aircraft like the Douglas DC-2 and Junkers JU-52. For his dedication, he was awarded medals in 1969 and 1973.

Engraciano reportedly followed a healthy, balanced diet and maintained an active daily routine, walking frequently, especially in the garden where he lived.

At the moment, he is the third-oldest living man in Spain, after Luis Carrasco-Muñoz y Pérez de la Isla, and Jesús Redondo Bermejo.
