Maria Perez Llanos, a resident of Palencia, Castile and León, Spain, is celebrating her 110th birthday today, according to Cadena SER.

Perez Llanos was born in Cuenca de Campos, Castile and León, Spain, on 28 March 1915. She grew up in Villarramiel but settled permanently in Palencia after marriage. She had four children, three of whom were still alive when she reached 110, having outlived one son.

At 108, it was reported that she did not need glasses to read or watch TV, nor a cane to walk, and her memory remained sharp.

At the age of 110, she also has ten grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. A few days before her 110th birthday, she was admitted to the hospital.
