Caroline Kuhlman was a validated American supercentenarian who died in 1989 at the age of 110.

Caroline Kuhlman was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, on 3 October 1879. Kuhlman converted from Lutheran to Catholicism at 9 after befriending a girl at St. Leo School. Keeping it secret for two years, she eventually confessed, leading her whole family to convert. At 16, she began teaching Christian doctrine at St. Leo’s and later at St. Mary Church.

Even at 102, Kuhlman held weekly Christian doctrine classes at her home, teaching children about God, Jesus, and the sacraments. With 17 regular students, she continued attending daily Mass and praying for others at St. Kilian Church.
