LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Anna Wheeler at 110 years old. She was one of the United States’ earliest supercentenarians to be validated.

Anna Wheeler was born on 5 March 1833 in New Baltimore, New York, USA. Her mother passed away a few days after giving birth to her and so her father was remarried to Eleanor Thorn. She had five older siblings.

At some point in the 1860s, Anna married the recently widowed William Henry Wheeler (1824-1894). The couple had a son whom they called as Clinton H. Wheeler (1864-1935).

When she was 109 years old, she was actively solving numerous crossword and jigsaw puzzles. She was also updated with the current events brought to her by reading newspapers.

Upon her validation, it was revealed that Anna Wheeler was among the first ten individuals to reach the age of 110 internationally.

Anna Wheeler passed away on 19 December 1943 in Coxsackie, New York, USA. She was 110 years and 289 days old when she passed away.
