Oldest Known Mexican-American Person, Santos Fierro, turned 110

LongeviQuest is delighted to share that the oldest Mexican-American, Santos Fierro, turned 110. She is an American supercentenarian born in Santa Barbara, Chihuahua, Mexico, on 22 July 1913.

Santos Fierro moved to El Paso, Texas, USA, in 1916 along with her family. This is where she attended school until she was in fourth grade. Moreover, she also found a work in a local hospital here before working at the school district.

In 1938, Santos married her husband Andres Fierro who later passed away in 1966 after 28 years of marriage. The couple had five children together whom she took care of alone after her husband’s death.  She lived in Smeltertown, a residential community in El Paso County, for a few years.

Santos Fierro is currently residing at El Paso, Texas, USA, at the age of 110.
