LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Rikako Hoshino at 111 years old. She was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age has been validated by LQ. Hoshino was the oldest living person in Gunma Prefecture at the time of her death.

Rikako Hoshino was born on 11 February 1910, in Katashina, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. She was married and had a total of five children with her husband.

Hoshino died of natural causes at the age of 111 years old. She passed away on 17 April 2021, in Katashina, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

After Hoshino passed away, Shige Kobayashi of Kiryū became the oldest living person in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

Kobayashi was born on 30 August 1910 in Kurohone (which is now part of Kiryū, Gunma Prefecture, Japan. She had a husband and the couple had three sons and five daughters together.

Mrs. Kobayashi was talented at sewing so she ran a clothing store that offers a wide variety of choices from Japanese clothes to futons. She managed this store until she reached the age of 70 years old.

Shige Kobayashi passed away on 24 July 2022, in Kiryū, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, at the age of 111 years old.
