Ottilia Eycleshimer (née Zillhardt) was an American supercentenarian.
Ottilia Eycleshimer was born in Troy, New York, USA, on 22 August 1893. Her parents were Jakob Zillhardt (1870–1947) and Ottilie Pentek (died 1955). She lived in the Troy area her entire life and was a graduate of both Troy High School and Troy Business College. For many years, she served as a private secretary and assistant to Miss Grace Allison, R.N., Superintendent of Samaritan Hospital, and as secretary to the Rensselaer County Medical Society.
At some point, she married Ralph Worthington Eycleshimer (1896–1982), the pioneering founder and first president of the Troy Senior Citizens Center on Third Street in Troy.
Deeply involved in civic affairs, she was a devoted member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Troy for 82 years. She participated in Presbyterian Women and various other church groups.
During World War II, she was an active worker at the U.S.O. Center located at the Troy Union Railroad Station, where she helped serve meals and provide sleeping accommodations for the many troop trains that passed through Troy.
Ottilia Eycleshimer passed away on 22 May 2006, at the age of 112 years, 273 days.
