BIOGRAPHY
Michelle Gandit was born in the commune of Anneyron in the Drôme department in southeastern France, on 31 August 1915. Her parents were Émile Joseph Louis Peillet (born 1884) and Céline Victorine Berruyer (born 1883). She had an older sister, Lucienne Maria (1913-2010).
On 26 July 1958, at the age of 42, she married André Paul Marius Gandit in Voiron.
