Anne Marie Blanche Darnet was a French supercentenarian.
Marie-Blanche Darnet was born in the commune of Thiviers in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France, on 7 May 1904.
She was a descendant of Jean-Baptiste Darnet (1722–1781), a military surgeon credited with discovering the kaolin deposits of Saint-Yrieix—the mineral that gave rise to Limoges porcelain. In her nineties, she participated in the July 1997 exhibition dedicated to Jean-Baptiste Darnet, organized by the Lanouaille tourist office and town hall, with support from the Adrien-Dubouché Porcelain Museum in Limoges.
Marie-Blanche Darnet passed away in the commune of Saint-Jory-las-Bloux in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France, on 28 December 2014, at the age of 110 years, 235 days.
Darnet’s age was verified by the members of Les Grands Centenaires Français, and validated by the ESO on 1 June 2023.
