Tei Andō is a validated Japanese supercentenarian reported as the oldest living person in Tochigi Prefecture.

Tei Andō was born on 17 March 1914 in Japan.

After World War II, she moved with her husband and children to Tochigi Prefecture. The family started a woodworking shop.

After her husband’s passing in 1992, she lived alone. However, due to declining health, she moved into a nursing home at the age of 100. Even at 109, she continued to read the newspaper every morning and remained actively engaged in elections by voting.

Tei Andō currently resides in Kanuma, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, at 110 years old.
