Kiyo Komatsu is a validated Japanese supercentenarian known as the oldest living person in Saitama Prefecture.
Kiyo Komatsu was born on 27 January 1911 in Kuroshima Village, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
In her late 20s, she married someone from her hometown and the two relocated to Tokyo, Japan, for her husband’s work. The couple only had one daughter together.
At the age of 109, she broke her femur, but she recovered enough to climb stairs again. She currently resides in her family home in Asaka, Saitama Prefecture, without the need for nursing care at 113 years old.
