Maria Pregnolato, a resident of Adria, Veneto, Italy, is celebrating her 110th birthday today, according to Polesine24.
Maria Pregnolato was born in Contarina (present-day Porto Viro), Veneto, Italy, on 8 March 1916. Her youth was spent working in the fields and rice paddies of northern Italy, particularly in the Vercelli area. She later contracted malaria, though she ultimately managed to recover from the illness. She spent every summer in Porto Viro, which at the time was still called Contarina.
After 1943, she and her husband were in Germany on business when, following the armistice, they were taken prisoner. She had one daughter.
LongeviQuest extends warm congratulations to Maria Pregnolato on her 110th birthday.
