Anna Teresa Ragazzi, a resident of Piacenza, Emilia-Romagna, Italy, passed away on 30 April, at the age of 110 years, 133 days. Her passing was confirmed by Libertà.

Anna Teresa Ragazzi was born in Piacenza, on 18 December 1914. Her father, Agostino, was an official at the Opera Pia Alberoni and passed away in 1958. She also had a brother, Carlo, born in 1910, who worked as a surveyor. Despite family ties to different professions, she was determined to become a teacher.

Her teaching journey started in Volta Mantovana, Lombardy. While pursuing her studies at the Catholic University of Milan, she secured a teaching position in Piacenza at the Carducci Middle School, located in Palazzo San Pietro. There, she taught Italian, Latin, history, and geography for many years before moving on to the Tramello Institute for Surveyors, where she taught for approximately 15 years. She retired in 1984.
