Elisabeth Rüterbories, a resident of Rheinbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, celebrates her 110th birthday today, as reported by General-Anzeiger Bonn.

Elisabeth Rüterbories was born in Sülz (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, on 10 January 1915, as one of three siblings. After completing her education at a girls’ school, she trained as a dental assistant and worked in this profession for four years.

In 1939, she married Johann-Heinz Rüterbories, a soldier stationed in Bonn, and relocated with him to Endenich. Following the Second World War, the couple moved to Poppelsdorf, where her husband pursued a career as a teacher. In 1964, the family, now with seven children, built a home in Neukirchen (Rheinbach).
