On November 24, Gabriel Ainsworth, a senior researcher specializing in Latin America, confirmed the passing of a 113-year-old Brazilian woman, whose identity will remain undisclosed. She passed away on June 18 at the age of 113 years and 58 days.

The anonymous lady was born in Brazil on April 21, 1911. Earlier this year, the woman’s age was documented by a research team comprising Gabriel Ainsworth, Iara Souza, and Filipe Lopes. Her age was officially validated on February 9.

At the time of her passing, she was the fourth-oldest living person in Brazil, following Inah Canabarro Lucas, Izabel Rosa Pereira (whose age was not validated until October), and Yolanda Beltrão de Azevedo.
