Leontina Ruberto, the oldest living person in Rome and in Italy’s Lazio region, passed away on October 17 at the age of 110 years, 272 days. Her passing was first reported by the website Supercentenari d’Italia.

Ruberto was born in Montefredane, Campania, Italy, on 19 January 1914.

On 13 September 2024, following the passing of Dr. Maria Gabriella Lerchenthal-Serra Borneto, she became the oldest living person in Lazio. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Francesca Fanizza (born 23 March 1915) of Rome.
