Zoraida Montezuma, one of the oldest living residents of Costa Rica, celebrates her 111th birthday today, on October 31. Her birthday was first announced by the local retirement and assisted living facility on their public Facebook page.

Montezuma was born in Limón, Limón Province, Costa Rica, on 31 October 1913. At the age of 108, she was still able to sing and dance. She currently resides in San Rafael de Escazú, San José Province.

At the moment, she is the second-oldest known living person in Costa Rica, behind Marita Camacho Quirós.
