Josino Levino Ferreira, currently the oldest living man in Brazil whose age has been fully validated, celebrated his 111th birthday at his home in Coronel Ezequiel, located in the northeastern State of Rio Grande do Norte.
Born in the State of Paraíba on 3 April 1913, he spent most of his life working as a farmer. He married Sebastiana Ana da Conceição in 1941, and the couple had children, from whom many descendants came, including 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
His age was validated by LongeviQuest last January. He is the first known man to reach the age of 111 in Rio Grande do Norte.
We would like to express our gratitude to his family for sharing the birthday photos with us, as well as to Mrs. Iara Souza for her efforts in validating his age and contacting the family.
