LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Kinu Suzuki of Japan at age 110. She was born in Japan on 12 May 1910.

In 1994, at the age of 94, Ms. Suzuki took a watercolor class and held an exhibition with her fellow students. Visitors praised her vibrant portraits of her great-grandchildren and local landscapes.

Suzuki became the oldest living person in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture in October 2017.

In 2018, as Shimada City’s oldest resident, she received a visit from the mayor. Despite using a wheelchair, she remained independent, expressing gratitude and singing her favorite song to the crowd.

Kinu Suzuki passed away in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on 26 April 2021, at the age of 110 years, 349 days. At the time of death, she was the third-oldest living person in Shizuoka Prefecture, after Kahoru Furuya and Sakae Shimizu.
