LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Angelina Torres Vallbona of Spain at age 110. She was born in the village of Bellvís in the province of Lleida, Catalonia, Spain, on 18 March 1913. After her father’s death at age 3, Vallbona and her mother moved to Barcelona. Educated by nuns, she apprenticed at a shoe store as a tiemaker and later at a dressmaker’s, honing her valuable sewing skills despite low wages.

Vallbona switched jobs to work at Bragulat during the Civil War. It was then that she met her husband, who served six years in the war. They married in 1942 after living with his parents due to financial struggles. Widowed at 61, she continued living independently until a broken femur brought her daughter Mercè to live with her.
