LongeviQuest is delighted to announce that the World’s oldest living blogger turned 110. Morrie Markoff is also currently the oldest known living man born in New York, among the oldest known living men in the United States, and the oldest living World War II veteran in the USA.

Markoff was born in New York City, New York State on 11 January 1914. Though his Russian immigrant father forced him to become a machinist, the Great Depression forced him to grab any job he could find. He eventually made a lasting career out of vacuum repair. Markofff later grew an air conditioning and appliances business.
He got married in Los Angeles, California on 4 November 1938, and the couple had 2 children. As of April 2017, he has five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
