LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Midori Tada of Japan at age 110. She was born in Japan on 15 July 1912. Tada eventually moved into a specialized nursing home for elderly residents. Tada was the last surviving resident of Okayama Prefecture who was born in the Meiji Era.

On July 15, 2022, Tada’s 110th birthday was celebrated at the nursing home with a small gathering of staff and close friends. She received a bouquet of flowers, a photo album, and a cake with her image on it. Despite jokingly stating, “I have some reservations about eating my own face,” she enjoyed the entire cake. When asked about the key to her longevity, she advised, “Don’t worry too much about others and live freely.” The nursing home staff remarked that her smile always brightened their day.
