BIOGRAPHY

Hashimoto was born in Japan on 30 September 1912.

Hashimoto passed away in Tsuyama, Okayama Prefecture, Japan, on 19 May 2023.

RECOGNITION

On 8 October 2022, following the death of 110-year-old Midori Tada, she became the oldest living person in Okayama Prefecture.

Following her death, Masako Soga succeeded her as the Prefecture’s oldest living person.

Her age was verified by Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare (MHLW), as well as Yumi Yamamoto and Takehiro Shibuya, and validated by LongeviQuest on 16 November 2023.
