LongeviQuest is pleased to announce the age validation of Yone Kawabata at 110 years old. She was a Japanese supercentenarian considered as the oldest living person in Miyazaki Prefecture at the time of her death.

Yone Kawabata was born on 14 February 1913 in Miyakonojō, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan.

In September 2021, she was recognized as the third-oldest living person in the prefecture behind Hide Hamabe and Masae Kai. Consequently, after Hamabe passed away on 10 January 2023, she became the oldest living person in Miyazaki Prefecture.

Yone Kawabata passed away on 19 August 2023 in Miyakonojō, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. She was 110 years and 186 days old at the time of her death.
