LongeviQuest is delighted to announce the age validation of Assumpta Tortorella at 110 years old. She was a Brazilian supercentenarian born in Botucatu, São Paulo, Brazil, on 5 March 1903. She was born to parents Pedro (Pietro) Tortorella and Joana Tíllio and the couple had 13 children including Assumpta.
At some point in her life, she married a merchant named Joaquim Reis.

When she was 109 years old, she lived with her younger sister, Helena Pinheiro Machado.
Assumpta Tortorella passed away on 2 February 2014 in Botacatu, São Paulo, Brazil, on 5 March 1903. She was 110 years old at the time of her death.
