The family eventually relocated to Dobrada, where young Fiorinda met her future husband. On 23 September 1933, she married Paulo de Godoy. The marriage lasted only six years after having a daughter, Aparecida de Godoy (1935-2017), before Paulo passed away. Fiorinda was then left to raise her daughter alone.

On 27 June 2017, her only daughter passed away after a day of her claimed 104th birthday. She had two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Fiorinda Rogante de Godoy’s current residence is in Araraquara, São Paulo, Brazil. Fiorinda recently celebrated her claimed birthday last June 2023 but records showed that she was actually born in May.
