Laurina “Lina” Galvani, Brazilian Supercentenarian and Humanitarian, Dies at 110

It is with a heavy heart that LongeviQuest has confirmed the death of Mrs. Laurina Farnetani Galvani on 17 May 2023 in São Paulo City, Brazil at 110 years old. Though only validated as a supercentenarian by LongeviQuest yesterday, Mrs. Galvani had long been known in Brazil as a respected humanitarian.

The official Facebook page of Lina Galvani Institute, an organization inspired to her life that caters community development, posted the news of her passing.

At the time of her death, she was survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. LongeviQuest offers our condolences to her family and loved ones.
